MULTI-PURPOSE RADIOMETER "RKS-01-SOLO"
This dosimeter is designed for complex radiation control over environment, work places, installations and transport facilities, scrap metal and other secondary raw materials. It has a broad range of highly sensitive blocks of alpha-, beta-, gamma- (include the X-ray range) and neutron-emanations. It is completed depending on the customer's demand.
The instrument is provided with a convenient survey mode for special automatic control of luggage and vehicles, including a possible presence of shielding investigating objects.
It is also provided with the convenient liquid-crystal indicator - search operation arrow mode, visual and acoustic alarm system.
The instrument is entered into the RK State Register as No. KZ.02.02.00335-2004
The alignment of energy dependence non-linearity of scintillators' sensitivity is performed by means of the analog-to-digital converter. The instrument ensures the implementation of radiation control general tasks in accordance with the Radiation Safety Regulations-99 and other normative documents.
PECULIARITIES:
convenient liquid-crystal indicator-arrow mode of search operation;
estimation of a measured radionuclides spectral composition by means of a built-in analog-to-digital converter;
PC-link using standard communication interface for data transmission;
small sizes and lightweight of the instrument.
Basic characteristics
This instrument consists of the control panel and detachable detectors.
Alpha and Beta Particles Detecting Block:
A scintillation detector, with an area of 40 cm2 is installed in the detecting block.
The range of flux density measurements is:
alpha particle, particles/ minute×cm2, from 0.1 to 105
beta particle, particles/ minute×cm2, from 1 to 105
The energy range is: for alpha particles, MeV, from 3 to 8
for beta particles, MeV, from 0.06 to 3.5
